Dingus Magee’s in Statesboro Georgia is more than a college hangout. It’s one of McKenzie Hamby’s favorite places! By now you’ve figured out that she attended Georgia Southern University. After making many fond memories hanging out with friends over a drink and plate of anything buffalo chicken– oh, and earning a degree in journalism– she found her way to United WebWorks.
She hails from Dawsonville, a wide spot in the road 45 minutes north of Atlanta. Other than being McKenzie’s hometown, it’s known for its long history of moonshine runners and NASCAR drivers. While she loves the mountains, McKenzie was lured away by the opportunity to try out city life.
The first thing we noticed about McKenzie was her laid back attitude. Then we found out that she really likes Halloween with all the horror movies and scary goings-on (so do we!). Even so, her motto “Don’t take life too seriously” also fits right in with our team. She usually follows her own advice: “Don’t worry about the little things and everything will fall into place like it is supposed to.”
She can’t go anywhere without her Nikon D7200. Photography fans will know what that is. Someday she’ll learn to play guitar or piano, and provide live music at her one-woman photography show.
We say road trip to Dawsonville with Tame Impala and Fleetwood Mac blasting and the windows down! Even though the folks back home miss you, we’re glad you ended up here in Savannah with us as a Marketing Specialist for United WebWorks.
